Well, the Division One show went off beautifully. We had couple of sound difficulties at first, but once things got under way they went great. It’s been a while since I’ve played in front of an audience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. Thanks to everyone who came out to support The Freakshow, and thanks for all of you who stayed for Johnny the Saint and Crushpoint.

Oh, a quick special thanks to my sister. She’s my oldest and biggest fan, and she always tries to come out and watch me do my thang. She has no idea how much it means to me to see her face in the audience. I love you, Heather. ;)

Can I just say that Craig is my favorite boy in the whole world? He knows this already, but all of my thanks go out to him for playing the show with me. We didn’t have much time to get things together, but he ended up surpassing my expectations. It’s good to know someone who knows what they’re doing. Craig, you’re the best. There’s nothing I love more than making music with you. And another big thanks to The Freakshow minions for giving him a chance to show you all how wonderful he is. I look forward to playing with him again in the future, and who knows? He may just become a permanent fixture in The Freakshow. I sure hope so.

The Division One show was great experience, but it was also a chance for me to get my feet wet again. As you know, I’ve got the Four-Star show coming up soon, and last Thursday night was good practice for playing live again. I feel a little more prepared to do the show (three whole hours at my disposal, can you believe it), and I have nothing but thanks for the Crushpoint boys for letting me get back into the live music groove.

I didn’t get a chance to catch Crushpoint’s set, and I’m really sad about that. I’m a fan of their music, and I love all three of those silly boys. I was able to catch most of Johnny the Saint, and he was effing awesome! He was fun, funky, and totally at ease with himself. I’m gonna be keeping my eyes and ears open for more of him. Most definitely.

So, in summation: Craig, I love you; Crushpoint, I’m sorry, but I know you guys were fabulous, no doubt; Johnny the Saint, I’m expecting great things from you; all of you Freakshow fans, you know I love you all; and to all of you new fans, hang in there ’cause there’s more where that came from.
