All right. For those of you who didn't already know, Craig and I finally did a little work and recorded a damn song. And all it took was a freak sleet storm and getting frozen inside the studio for a whole day to do it! So now, when you tell your grandma you can't wax her upper lip some night because you're going to see my show and she asks you who I am, you've got a song to play her.
Anyway, if you haven't heard the song yet there are about a thousand places you can hear it. Go to my Links page and look under the Music heading and look for the link (it's called Waking Up, by the way). Or, I'm about to have it posted on MP3.com, so's you can check it out there when it's up and running. Or, if you're feeling lazy, you can just click here and it should take you right to it. 'Kay? Cool.
Now that that's all over and done with, here's a little bit more shameless self-promotion. [insert evil laughter here] It's March. That means there are five Sundays coming up where you can come out and see me do the Open Mic Night at Club Da Da in Deep Ellum. Last week was a smashing success, and I wanna do it all the time. It's a three-song set, not very long, but if you're gonna be there you can e-mail me a request and I can fit it in. So come on out and see what the Dallas music scene has to offer. If you need directions, click here and you can get all the info.
Also, I've got another Four-Star show coming up on the 29th. Check out the What Tour? page for all the nitty gritty details on that one.
Okay. Just to sum up: 1) New song, Waking Up;go check it out. 2) Open Mic Night at Club Da Da; it rocks. 3) March Four-Star show; be there or be a hexagon. What? Yeah. Umm . . .
So until next time, kiddos.
